2026 WCQ: Tella Relishes Super Eagles Debut

Nathan Tella can’t hide his excitement after making his debut for the Super Eagles.
The Bayer Leverkusen winger was handed his maiden invitation for Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
The 24-year-old was benched in the game against the Likuena of Lesotho.
The former Arsenal star however started the game against Zimbabwe and was replaced after the break.
“Good experience away. Happy to make my debut for Super Eagles,” he wrote on his Instagram page.
The Super Eagles are expected to be Nigeria’s squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
