Nigeria defender, Ola Aina has expressed his excitement after scoring his first goal for Nottingham Forest.

Aina netted a stunning opener for the Tricky Trees in Forest’s 2-0 victory against Aston Villa on Sunday.

The versatile full-back fired home from outside the box on five minutes.

Orel Mangala scored the second goal two minutes after the break to make the points save for Steve Cooper’s side.

An excited Aina stated said he will remember the goal for a long time.

“My goal was one to remember. I’m happy to get off the mark and help the team. We can all be proud, we stuck to the game plan, we dug in and fought for each other,” he told Sky Sports

The 26-year-old has made eight league appearances for Forest this season.
