The General Manager of the Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), Dimeji Lawal, has apologised to the teeming supporters and fans of the club over the 0-3 loss to Remo Stars in Wednesday’s Matchday six game.

The ex International, in a message to the supporters and fans of the club, aftermath the Southwest derby, admitted that the team let them down with the result.

“On behalf of the management, technical crew and players of this club, I am tendering an unreserved apology to our supporters and fans over the loss to Remo Stars in Ikenne.

“We really appreciate them for dedicating their precious time and spending their hard earned money to come down to Ikenne to support us, despite the harsh economy.

“I want to, on behalf of the entire team, appeal to them not to be discouraged, but to keep on supporting and believing in us. We will surely make up for that disappointing result from the next game against Niger Tornadoes.

“Our desire to give them something to cheer about at the end of the season remains, and we promise to be consistent in our performance henceforth”, assured Kabongo, as the 3SC general manager is popularly known.
