Peter Olayinka Earns Red Star Belgrade Win Over Novi Beograd

Super Eagles forward Peter Olayinka scored what proved to be the match winner for Red Star Belgrade to pile the pressure on Serbian league leaders and city rivals Partizan.

Olayinka netted his club’s second goal at IMT Novi Beograd for Red Star to win 2-1 on the road and consolidate second place in the standings with 27 points from 11 matches.

They are now four points behind leaders Partizan.

Olayinka extended his rich scoring form with his fifth goal of the league season a week after he also hit target in a 3-2 home win over Javor.
