Nigerian striker Gift Orban scored his first goal in two months for KAA Gent as they strolled to a 5-0 win over Iceland-based Breidablik in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Super Eagles invitee Gift Orban has been on a ten-game goal drought, having failed to find the net for his side since August. His form has seen him become a substitute for his Belgian side in recent matches.

Omri Gandelman opened the scoring for Gent after only ten minutes before striker Hugo Cuypers scored twice in quick succession to put the Belgians up 3-0 by the 19th minute. Tarik Tissoudali scored in the 43rd minute to make it 4-0 to the Belgian outfit at the break.

Orban was introduced off the bench after 57 minutes, replacing fellow Nigerian star Jordan Torunarigha for the hosts.

Orban finally ended his goal drought in the 69th minute when Hyun-Seok Hong played him in with a fine pass. The 21-year-old calmly slotted his effort past the goalkeeper to round off the scoring and end his personal drought.
