Former NFF Board Member Emerges Chairman Of Plateau State Football Association

Hon. Dr. Sulaiman Yahaya Kwande has been elected as the Chairman Plateau state football Association (PFA)
The former Nff Board member has won unopposed, as the newly elected Chairman.
Kwande a former NPL Board member and his Newly Elected Board members will Pilot the affairs of PFA in the next 4 years.
Mr Ezira Godit and Patrick Habu Pakwai were elected as first and Second vice Chairman.
The much-anticipated
elections was held in Jos the Capital city of Plateau state Chaired by Barr. Dan Gwaza.
In his acceptance speech, former Chairman Media and Finance committee of the Nff Kwande, said his tenure shall ensure that young football talents are uncovered and harnessed to re-boost the game of Football in Plateau State, and Nigeria as a whole.
Hon Kwande, a Former Mighty Jets Chairman also said his tenure as PFA Chairman shall re-unite Plateau people through numerous Sporting activities; he revealed that Secondary School games shall be rejuvenated.
Representatives of the NFF President Alhaji Babagana Kalli who Doubled as Chairman Barno State FA and also Chairman Security and Match appointment Commeettee of the Nff said that the electioneering processes and the election was carried out inline with laid down standard and rules.
Kalli charged the newly elected PFA executives to ensure that general Sport development is key in their agenda.
In the same vein the Chairman House Committee on Sports of the Plateau State Assembly Hon Joseph Gokum, who witnessed the elections in a chat with Journalists assured that the budgetary provision meant for Sport shall be released for proper usage.
The out gone PFA acting Chairman Audu Buba, in an address said his job to conduct a free and fair election was diligently executed.
Hon Gokum who represents Kanke State Constituency; tasked PFA to ensure that young indigenous persons from Plateau State are recruited to playing football for the State.
the newly elected officials of the PFA Barr Joseph I. felix, urged the leadership of the PFA to rule in accordance with the constitution as it is enshired.
Rt Hon Emmanuel Go’ar, a former Speaker of the Plateau state House of Assembly presented the Certificate of Return to Hon Suleiman Kwande, as the newly elected Chairman, Plateau Football Association PFA.
