Rivers Angels,Edo Queens, Bayelsa Queens, 10 Others Listed For Besty Obaseki Women’s Football Tournament

The third edition of the Besty Obaseki Women’s Football Tournament is about to go down in Benin City.

The competition themed, ‘End Gender Based Violence,’ is aimed at discovering football talents in Edo state.

The participating teams are Rivers Angels, Edo Queens, Bayelsa Queens, Delta Queens, Robo Queens, Naija Ratels, Nasarawa Amazons and Osun Babes.

Others include Confluence Queens, Fotress Queens, Ekiti Queens, Remo Stars Ladies, and Heartland Queens.

Samuel Ogbemudia, University of Benin Sports Complex, Western Boys High School mini stadium, Edo state College of Nursing and Health Sciences mini stadium and University of Benin Teaching Hospital are venues selected for the tourney.

The tournament will be played between October 23rd to November 1st, 2023, and thereafter trophies and match prizes will given to the participating teams as part of the closing ceremony.
