Stormers SC, Olumo United Clash In Curtain Raiser Of 2023 Ogun FA Pre Season Tournament

Twenty two teams will take part in the 2023 Ogun State Football Association Pre Season tournament scheduled to commence on Thursday, 19th October, 2023.

On Monday, the participating teams were unveiled at the Secretariat of the Ogun State Football Association, MKO Abiola stadium, Abeokuta where the draw was conducted.

State Owned Gateway United, newly promoted Remo Stars B, Stormers Sports Club who were campaigners at last season’s promotion Playoff to the Nigeria Premier Football League, Ijebu United and Patriots FC, winners of the last Pre Season tournament organized by Ogun State Football Association are part of the participants.

Talents hub FC Ebedei, Imperial Football Academy, Chosen Generation FC, Ladegbuwa FA are also in the mix for the six day event.

Originally, the tournament was designed to help teams plying their trade in the Nigeria National League and the Nationwide League prepare adequately for the new season, entry was however extended to non League teams with the intention of showcasing the talents at their disposal.

Matches will be played at the MKO Abiola stadium, Abeokuta, Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode and Gateway International stadium, Sagamu starting from October 19 to 24th, 2023.
