NYG 2023: Tomiwa Olaoye Thumbs Up Governor Oyebanji On State Contingent Reception.

One of Ekiti State’s athletes to the just concluded National Youth Games, Asaba 2023, Tomiwa Olaoye has showered encomiums on Governor Biodun Oyebanji for his fatherly love on the State contingent.

Tomiwa Olaoye, a 100m and 200m athlete could not hide her feelings while speaking with FreekickNaija.com.ng in Ado-Ekiti on Friday.

Ekiti State contingent finished 18th overall on the medals table after amassing 2 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze.

“Governor Oyebanji made the difference for us and we can’t but thank him for the fatherly love and role he played ensuring our welfare were top notch,” said Olaoye.

“We came back from Asaba and within few days we were hosted to a grand reception at the government house. What we owe our Governor (Daddy) now is to improve in our subsequent outing when representing the State.

“Few days ago, we were told to submit our personal account details for disbursement of cash. For me, I can’t forget this day because Governor Oyebanji has made the difference and brought in a new live to sports in our darling State,” ecstatic Olaoye maintained.
