The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) will introduce modern communication gadgets from the 2024/25 season.
SPORTSGISTER reports that the NPFL chairman, Gbenga Elegbeleye, announced the new initiative during the AGM held yesterday
“We have concluded the procurement of communication gadgets that can minimize officiating errors, and these will be available for NPFL Referees from the new season (NPFL25). NFF would work with international partners to train Referees on the operations of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR), No date for VAR introduction yet”
Rangers will kickstart 2024/2025 NPFL season with a curtain Raiser match against newly promoted El-kanemi warriors on August 31st while other Matchday one Fixtures will be played a week later
Rangers won the NPFL title in the 2023/24 season with Remo Stars and Enyimba coming second and third respectively.
