South Africa have named their preliminary squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers Group C encounters against Nigeria and Zimbabwe
The squad made up of players that helped Bafana Bafana finished third at the recently concluded AFCON in Cote D’Ivoire
The South African senior men’s national team face Nigeria’s Super Eagles away from home in Uyo on Friday, 7 June 2024
Bafana Bafana will then play Zimbabwe 11 June at Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein
The final 23-member squad will be announced in the next few days.
South Africa are second in Group C with three points from two games.
The Super Eagles occupy third position with two points from same number of matches.
