Nasarawa State Football Association under the leadership of Alhaji Salisu Usman Galadima has congratulated Nasarawa Amazons on securing the super 6 ticket.
In his words, The Lafia Landladies showed again the reason why they are the biggest team in the whole of the North Central.
“I want to congratulate the Amazons on yet again securing their place in the final six of the women league in Nigeria”.
“This has furthermore shown that you are the most successful club in the state and with the full support of the His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi. A. Sule you will definitely achieve more”.
“I also extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Chairperson of the club, Hajiya Hussiana Sulieman Nagogo for her resilience in making sure that the girls got the right motivation to be one of the best team in the country”.
“We pray and hope that God will crown the efforts of our Amazons with the NWPL Championship, he concluded”.
Goals from Joshphine Mathias and Ojiyovwi Kesiena made sure that Mary Moses’s strike was just a consolation as Nasarawa Amazon beats Adamawa Queens 2-1 at the Lafia City to qualify for the NWPL super six with a game in hand.
