Aliyu Zubair Joins El-kanemi Warriors

Coach Aliyu Zubair teamed up with El-Kanemi Warriors ahead of the current 2023-24 NNL season.
Zubairu signed a two-year contract with the Borno Army.
It would be recalled that the newly appointed head coach left Gombe United after the expiration of his contract at the end of the 22/23 NPFL season.
Elkanemi sits atop of Group C with 25 points from 12 games, having won 7 games, drawn 4, and has recorded just 1 loss so far this season.
El-Kanemi Warriors were relegated from the NPFL at the end of last season. A quick promotion is on the cards for Elkanemi, which is testament to the good works of coach Aliyu Zubairu.
