Nigeria’s Olayinka Olajide has finished second women’s 200m final
She clocked a Personal Best (PB) of 23.18s (-2.6) to finish 2nd in the women’s 200m final at the African Games! She has now has a complete set of medals:100m,200m and 4x100m
She came off the bend in 3rd, but maintained composure and closed down hard on Gina Bass of Namibia who won in 23.14s.
Similarly, Favor Ekanem finished third in men’s 200m final
He ran his personal best on 20.80s (-2.8)
Ghana Joseph Paul Amoah got the win in his final 50 metres, clocking 20.70s while Silver went to Itoungue Claude Emmanuel in 20.74s
