NPFL Fines Enyimba, Doma United for Misconduct

The reigning NPFL Champions, Enyimba Football Club of Aba have been ordered by the body running the league to pay a fine of N1m for not providing adequate security for their last home match against Doma United
Enyimba were also asked by the NPFL to pay another N1m for encroachment on to the pitch by their fans and other unauthorized persons.
The Aba based NPFL side will also pay N5m fine for the disruption of live broadcast of the match
In addition to the N7m fines imposed on the reigning League Champions, Enyimba Stadium will be closed for fans in their next 3 home league matches
The Peoples Elephants have 48 hours to appeal the decision.
Similarly,Doma United FC of Gombe State have been asked to pay a fine of N2m for breaching NPFL Framework & Rules in their last away game against Enyimba in Aba
Doma United fined N1m for misconduct capable of bringing the game to disrepute
United to pay another N1m for general misconduct and failure to ensure proper conduct of their players and officials
They have 48hrs to appeal the decision
