Super Eagles stand-in captain William Ekong and Zaidu Sanusi will miss today’s final AFCON Group A match against Guinea Bissau, SCORENigeria can exclusively report
Ekong was the hero Thursday when he fired the second-half penalty that downed AFCON hosts Cote d’Ivoire.
It was Nigeria’s first-ever victory in Abidja
His absence has been caused by injury as he did not feature in the team’s final training Sunday evening.
FC Porto left back Zaidu Sanusi is also out.
Like Ekong, he has played the first two group games.
