The MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta and Okuyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado-Ekiti have been listed as the host venues for the Nationwide League One (NLO) South-West Promotional Play-off, scheduled for July 10 and 15, 2026.
All Lagos-based teams—Franceex United, Ablaze FC, Hepzebah FC, and Ikorodu—will compete for the first promotion slot for South-West 1. Meanwhile, Dokkal Khairu FC from Osun, Adeyemi FC from Oyo, Ijebu United from Ogun, and Yewa FA from Ogun will vie for the second slot for South-West 2.
The playoffs will determine which two clubs from the South-West region will gain promotion to the Nigeria National League (NNL).
Nationwide League One also announced that matches for the one-week fiesta will be held simultaneously across both venues to facilitate a competitive and efficient tournament.
Teams are required to arrive in Abeokuta and Ado-Ekiti by July 9, 2026, for the technical pre-match meeting. Each team must deposit N200,000 into the Nationwide League One FCMB Bank account (3267800014).
State FAs are tasked with ensuring all qualifying teams from their states are fully cleared, documented, and informed about their venues. Further details, including fixtures and guidelines, will be shared through the respective State FAs.
The NLO emphasised a strict zero-tolerance policy towards indiscipline, late arrivals, and failure to present valid player licenses. It also urged State FAs to promote fair play and ensure strict adherence to league regulations.
