ECN FC and Olegacy FC will lock horns in an exciting friendly encounter scheduled to take place at the Bako Field, Gwagwalada, Abuja, on Friday, May 8, 2026, by 4 PM.
The highly anticipated clash forms part of Olegacy FC’s preparations for the 2026 AfrisportPro Youth League and the NLO Youth League season.
Olegacy FC, an established NLO Youth League side with over 26 years of grassroots football experience across Nigeria, recently expanded its operations with the establishment of a new branch in Kwali, Abuja.
The club continues to strengthen its squad and tactical setup ahead of major competitions, using high-profile friendly matches to fine-tune performance and build team chemistry.
Speaking ahead of the encounter, Coach Daniel of Olegacy Football Club Kwali expressed confidence in his players despite acknowledging the challenge of playing away from home.
“My boys are ready to give their all in this game. We recognize what going away means. We may be the underdogs in this clash, but we are a big team with a lot of pedigree,” he said.
Team captain Hosea also shared his excitement ahead of the fixture, insisting the squad is fully motivated and determined to deliver a strong performance.
“It’s the very opportunity we have been waiting for. We are in high spirits and all the boys are ready to make this count. ECN will have a run for their money today,” Hosea declared.
