Broad City And Klassisc FC Gear Up for Jagaban Cup Final

The Jagaban Cup Day 3 produced exhilarating outcomes on Saturday morning at the Legacy Pitch, paving the way for an exciting final between Klassisc FC and Broad City FC.

 

FC Bethel clinched third place ticket with a narrow 1-0 victory over 36 Lion, thanks to a goal from Ebuka Emmanuel.

 

Klassisc FC earned their place in the final with a 1-0 triumph over SGFC Athletics, with Charles Obani scoring the decisive goal.

 

Ikorodu City secured second place in Group B after a 2-0 win against Mavlon FC, earning them a spot in the third place match. Nasiru Sulaimon and Awal Abdulkareem were the scorers for the Oga Boys.

 

Smart City rallied to defeat Broad City 2-1, but this result did not diminish Broad City’s aspirations of reaching the final.

 

The Jagaban Cup final is set to be an exciting clash between Klassisc FC and Broad City FC on Sunday at 9am Nigerian time. Both teams have demonstrated remarkable form, and the match is expected to be a thrilling showdown.

 

The 5th edition of the Jagaban Cup is supported by 36 Lion Investment, Diamond Sports Management Limited, and the Lagos State Football Association.

 

Previous tournaments held in Lagos were highly successful, attracting scouts from Belgium, Turkey, Slovakia, Azerbaijan, Sweden, Switzerland, Brazil, Austria, France, and the Czech Republic. This led to several players receiving invitations for trials abroad and signing contracts.
