The Nasarawa State Football Association (NSFA) has confirmed a new date for the highly anticipated Nasarawa State Governor’s Cup, rekindling excitement among football enthusiasts across the state.
In an official statement, the FA announced that the prestigious competition will now be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, after it was earlier postponed.
The final was initially slated for February 11 but had to be deferred due to the unavailability of His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, Executive Governor of Nasarawa State.
The rescheduled event promises a thrilling day of football action.
The third-place playoff will kick off at 12:00 pm, with Keana Local Government set to face Keffi Local Government in what is expected to be a fiercely contested encounter.
