‎The All Sports Supporters’ Club of Nigeria has congratulated the Super Eagles for their emphatic 4–0 victory over Mozambique in the Round of 16 of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, a result that sealed Nigeria’s place in the quarterfinals of the competition.

‎Nigeria delivered a commanding performance against the Mambas, with Victor Osimhen once again underlining his importance to the team by scoring twice.

‎ Ademola Lookman and Akor Adams added one goal apiece to complete a dominant display by the 2013 African champions.

‎The convincing win not only showcased the Super Eagles’ attacking depth but also reaffirmed their status as one of the leading contenders for the AFCON 2025 title.

‎Reacting to the victory, the Deputy National President of the All Sports Supporters’ Club, Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh Alao, who is leading the supporters’ contingent in Morocco, praised the team’s discipline, unity, and hunger for success.

‎“This is the kind of performance Nigerians have been praying for.

‎” The boys played with confidence, determination, and great teamwork. Osimhen, Lookman, and the entire squad showed that they are fully focused on bringing the trophy back home,” Alao said.

‎“We are proud of the Super Eagles, and as supporters, we will continue to stand firmly behind them here in Morocco and across the world. This victory should motivate the team to go all the way.”

‎Nigeria will now turn attention to the quarterfinals, where they will face the winner of the clash between Algeria and DR Congo on Saturday, as the Super Eagles continue their quest for a fourth AFCON title.
