‎In a statement released on matchday, the supporters’ body expressed strong confidence in the ability, experience and fighting spirit of the Nigerian team, urging the players to rise to the occasion as the knockout stage of the competition begins.

‎Describing the fixture as a defining moment in Nigeria’s AFCON campaign, the Club called on the Super Eagles to approach the contest with discipline, focus and the winning mentality that has earned the nation respect on the continental stage.

‎Speaking from Morocco, the Deputy National President of the All Sports Supporters’ Club, Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh Alao, who is leading the Nigerian supporters’ contingent at the tournament, assured the team of unwavering backing from the stands.

‎“We are fully behind the Super Eagles and we believe strongly in this team,” Alhaji Alao said.

‎ “The boys have shown character so far, and this is the stage where champions separate themselves. Mozambique is a good side, but Nigeria has the quality, experience and hunger to go all the way.”

‎He also highlighted the importance of supporters’ presence at the venue.

‎“Our supporters are here in large numbers to cheer, sing and push the team forward.

‎The players should know that Nigerians at home and abroad are solidly behind them.

‎ We expect nothing less than total commitment and victory.”

‎As kickoff approaches, the Club reaffirmed its belief that with unity, determination and the famous Nigerian fighting spirit, the Super Eagles can overcome Mozambique and take another bold step toward AFCON 2025 glory.
