All Sports Supporters’ Club Backs Super Eagles Ahead Of AFCON 2025 Group Opener Against Tanzania

The All Sports Supporters’ Club of Nigeria (ASSCN), under the leadership of its President, Barrister Johnson Dagana, has sent a strong message of goodwill and encouragement to the Super Eagles ahead of their opening match at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
In a statement released on match day, Barrister Dagana assured the national team of the unwavering support of Nigerian sports fans at home and in the diaspora, stressing that the Super Eagles carry the hopes and pride of over 200 million Nigerians into the tournament.
He urged the players to approach their Group opener against Tanzania with confidence, discipline, and unity, noting that a positive start is crucial to building momentum in a competition as demanding as AFCON.
According to him, the Super Eagles possess the quality, experience, and fighting spirit required to go far in the tournament if they remain focused and committed.
The ASSCN leadership also called on the coaching crew and players to maintain belief in themselves, play to their strengths, and uphold the rich footballing heritage of Nigeria on the continental stage.
Dagana further appealed to Nigerians everywhere to rally behind the team with prayers and moral support throughout the competition.
The AFCON 2025 Group match between Nigeria and Tanzania is scheduled to kick off at 6:30pm Nigerian time, with the Super Eagles aiming to secure all three points and set the tone for a successful campaign in Morocco.
