Super Eagles Camp Opens in Cairo As Uzoho Makes Early Arrival ‎

‎Preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations officially got underway today as the Super Eagles opened their training camp in Cairo, Egypt, ahead of the tournament in Morocco.

‎The Nigerian delegation is currently lodged at the Renaissance Hotel in Cairo, where members of the technical crew and backroom staff had arrived earlier to put final arrangements in place while awaiting the players.

‎Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho became the first player to report to camp, arriving at exactly 2:00am Egyptian time in the early hours of the morning.

‎The returning shot-stopper was warmly received by the coaching staff and team officials, setting the tone for what promises to be an intense and focused build-up to the continental showpiece.

‎More players are expected to join the camp in the coming hours and days as the Super Eagles begin full preparations for AFCON 2025, with the coaching crew keen on fostering early cohesion and readiness ahead of the tournament in Morocco.
