Preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations officially got underway today as the Super Eagles opened their training camp in Cairo, Egypt, ahead of the tournament in Morocco.
The Nigerian delegation is currently lodged at the Renaissance Hotel in Cairo, where members of the technical crew and backroom staff had arrived earlier to put final arrangements in place while awaiting the players.
Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho became the first player to report to camp, arriving at exactly 2:00am Egyptian time in the early hours of the morning.
