NWFL: Bayelsa Queens Destroy Naija Ratels To Maintain Perfect Start ‎

‎Bayelsa Queens blew Naija Ratels away with five goals as the Prosperity Girls maintained their 100 per cent record in the NWFL Premiership with a statement 5-0 win.

‎The Prosperity Girls dismantled Naija Ratels defence on a perfect morning that saw three goals from three players and a double for Alaba Olabiyi.

‎Bayelsa Queens dominated from start to finish and scored two goals in the first half as Ojiyovwi Kesiena opened the flood gate of goals in the 12 minute while Kindness Chinasa made it two in the 36th minutes to end the first half 2-0.

‎Naija Ratels barely threatened the defense of Bayelsa Queens.

‎Bayelsa Queens reasserted control immediately after the restart and substitute Alaba Olabi scored two quick goals in the 73 and 80 minutes to put the game beyond the reach of Naija Ratels.

‎This was a morning where everything went right for Bayelsa Queens.

‎Three minutes later, Delight Isaac made it 5–0.

‎Naija Ratels continued to push late on, but Bayelsa Queens saw out the result to remain just one point behind Adamama Queens who are on 7 points after three matches while the Prosperity Girls are second with 6 points with a game less.

‎“We’re happy we got the victory, but it’s about consistency, we will not relent, we must still push for the ultimate glory”, Coach Whyte Ogbonda of Bayelsa Queens said.

‎Naija Ratels Coach, Sabo Okala, “the result was not what we wanted, but I and my players will not let that weigh us down”.

‎He said they still have that positive frame of mind.

‎“In all fairness, Bayelsa Queens are a better side and the better side won today”, Coach Sabo Okala added.
