The 10th edition of the PROFEMATEUR 7 National Women’s Football Competition kicked off in grand style on Sunday, October 26, 2025, marking a decade of celebrating excellence in Nigerian women’s football.
Organized by Royaltoms International Football Academy, PROFEMATEUR 7 is an annual event dedicated to honoring past and present Super Falcons players as well as promoting the growth of women’s football in Nigeria.
This milestone edition promises to be one of the most memorable yet, with organizers ensuring a top-notch atmosphere for players to display their talents.
In the opening fixtures, Judith Chime Queens began their campaign on a winning note, edging Onosky Angels—led by former Super Falcons captain Onome Eni—by a lone goal. The decisive strike came from Owoyele Idera, who sealed the 1–0 victory for the Chime Queens.
Reacting to the result, former Super Falcons goalkeeper Judith Chime expressed her delight at the team’s performance and encouraged them to maintain their momentum.
“I’m very proud of the girls. If they go all the way to win the 10th edition of PROFEMATEUR 7, there’s a special financial reward waiting for them from my personal pocket,” she assured.

“This 10th edition will be exceptional. We’ve worked hard to ensure the players enjoy the best of facilities and the right atmosphere to express their passion and talent,” he stated.
With the competition now underway, fans can expect an exciting display of skill, determination, and sportsmanship as teams vie for glory in this landmark edition of PROFEMATEUR 7.
