Doma United FC Restructures Technical and Management Team Ahead Of New NNL Season

Doma United Football Club has unveiled key appointments to strengthen both its technical bench and management team as part of preparations for the upcoming season.
The club confirmed the appointment of Coach Najib Mabo as the new Technical Adviser. Mabo, son of the late legendary Nigerian coach Ismaila Mabo, brings a wealth of experience, having previously managed Mighty Jets FC. His arrival is expected to inject discipline, leadership, and renewed tactical direction into the team.
Mabo will work alongside Coach Maurice Chigozie and Coach Suleiman Muhammad Anke, who have been vital members of the club’s coaching staff. This blend of continuity and fresh ideas is aimed at elevating Doma United’s competitiveness on and off the pitch.
On the management side, Saidu Umar retains his position as General Manager, ensuring stability in the executive arm. Meanwhile, Ishiyaku Muazu, who previously served as Team Manager, has been promoted to Club Director, where he will take charge of wider strategic and administrative responsibilities.
To fill the vacant Team Manager role, Suleiman Umar Reme has been appointed and will oversee the coordination of day-to-day team operations. In addition, Coach Boyin Ayodele (Lemmy) joins as Goalkeeper Coach, bringing specialized expertise to sharpen the club’s goalkeeping department.
Speaking on the restructuring, the Club Chairman said:
“We welcome Coach Najib Mabo to the Doma United family. Together with our dedicated coaches, Maurice Chigozie and Suleiman Muhammad, we are confident this strengthened technical and management team will help us achieve our ambitions for the new season and beyond.”
He further emphasized the club’s commitment to professionalism, talent development, and delivering excellence to its fans and stakeholders.
