NWFL Championship 2025: Underate Osun Babes FC At Your Own Peril- Wole Animasahun.

After seeing the group stage draws of the NWFL Championship 2025, the Head Coach of Osun Babes FC, Wole Animasahun has sounded note of warnings to individuals writing his team off.
Coach Animasahun who was unperturbed by the the threat his opponents posed told the Media Officer of the team, Oluwaseun Omolola in a one on one discussion that Osun Babes FC will silence all critics with beautiful performances and results at the championship.
” We are fully aware that we are in a group with wonderful teams who have all paid their dues in female football over the years but we ourselves, Osun Babes FC are no pushovers.”
” Last year, we missed out narrowly at the playoffs but here we are again this year to redeem our image. We would not make the same mistakes we made last year.”
” Surely, we respect all our opponents but we would definitely give the Championship our best shot in order to go back to the NWFL Premiership where we truly belong.”
” Our players are in good shape and they are ready to fight for club. All matches against all opponents are finals and the players are aware of that. Hence, they are fully ready for the task.” Said Coach Animasahun.
Osun Babes FC has been drawn in group B2 and would face Ghetto Tigers, Moje Queens, Delta Babes and Imo Strikers FC.
The group games start on 13th September, 2025 but Osun Babes FC wouldn’t be in action until 15th of September, 2025 when they be slugging it out against Imo Strikers FC at Abiriba Stadium, Abia State.
