NWFL Championship Draw:”We Won’t Underestimate Any Team”-Sunshine Queens Head Coach

The head coach of Sunshine Queens, Rafiu Oseni, has shared his thoughts following the NWFL Championship draw, which was conducted virtually in Abuja this afternoon.
Sunshine Queens, who were relegated from the Nigeria Women’s Football League two years ago, have been placed in Group A1 alongside Kwara Ladies, Unification FC, and Fortress Ladies.
Speaking on the draw, Coach Oseni emphasized that his team will treat every opponent with seriousness and respect.
“All participating teams are eyeing promotion to the NWFL.
”Sunshine Queens will not underestimate any team; we will accord our opponents the utmost respect.
”We shall approach every game according to our philosophy. We are fully ready for any opponent.”
The 2025 NWFL Championship is scheduled to take place in Abia State from September 11th to 21st, with 17 teams vying for four promotion slots to the top tier of women’s football in Nigeria.
