The WAFCON 2024 final match between Nigeria’s Super Falcons and hosts Morocco was a thrilling encounter that drew the attention of many football fans, including the family of Super Falcons defender Ashleigh Plumptre.
Two of Plumptre’s family members, who bore a striking resemblance to the talented defender, were spotted at the Casablanca stadium, cheering on Nigeria to victory.
Throughout the tournament, Plumptre was solid for Nigeria, marshaling her left side of the defense perfectly and making good runs offensively.
Her defensive prowess and attacking threat were key factors in Nigeria’s success.
