The match was played at L.A Primary School field Ilutitun,with both teams creating scoring opportunities in a goalless first half.
On the resumption of the second half, both teams intensified their efforts to find a winner. However, Embavic FC’s superior firepower paid off when Adegoke Oluwanbe scored the decisive goal, giving his team a 1-0 lead.
Despite Diamond FC’s efforts to equalize, Embavic FC held on to claim all three points.
