WAFU B Appoints Match Officials For U-20 Boys Cup

The West African Football Union Zone B (WAFU-B) has announced the appointment of match officials for the 3rd edition of the WAFU-B U20 Boys Cup.
A total of 14 match officials, comprising 7 referees and 7 assistant referees, have been selected for the tournament.
Each participating country has been allocated two match officials, one referee and one assistant referee.
The WAFU-B U20 Boys Cup is scheduled to take place in Ghana from July 10th to 23rd.
The tournament will feature 6 teams, divided into two groups. Group A consists of Nigeria, Ghana, and Benin Republic, while Group B comprises Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Togo, and Niger.
The U20 Boys Cup will serve as a crucial platform for Nigeria’s Flying Eagles to prepare and get in shape ahead of the FIFA U20 World Cup.
The Flying Eagles are two-time runners-up at the World Cup and will be looking to build on their past successes.
The FIFA U20 World Cup is scheduled to take place in Chile from September 27th to October 19th, 2025.
