Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey is set to leave Arsenal at the end of June when his contract expires, ending his five-year tenure with the London club,reports sportsgister.com
Despite efforts from both parties, Arsenal and Partey failed to reach an agreement on a new contract.
Several clubs, including Barcelona, Juventus, and Fenerbahce, have shown interest in signing the 32-year-old midfielder.
The Gunners are reportedly in talks with Brentford’s Christian Norgaard as a potential replacement for Partey.
Partey enjoyed his best season in England last year, making 35 Premier League appearances and scoring four goals.
He played a key role in Arsenal’s UEFA Champions League semi-final run, featuring in 12 matches.
Partey is currently in Ghana on holiday and will head to Europe soon to discuss his future with interested clubs.
