Borussia Dortmund secured their first win in Group F of the FIFA Club World Cup, defeating Mamelodi Sundowns 4-3 in a high-scoring match at the TQL Stadium in Cincinnati.
Sundowns took the lead through Lucas Ribeiro’s goal after 11 minutes, but Dortmund quickly equalized through Felix Nmecha’s effort five minutes later
Bellingham’s goals gave Dortmund a 3-1 lead at halftime, before Khuliso Mudau scored an own goal to make it 4-1.
Iqraam Rayners and Lebo Mothiba scored for Sundowns, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Dortmund’s lead.
The win marked Borussia Dortmund’s first victory in Group F of the FIFA Club World Cup.
