Real Madrid has announced that star player Kylian Mbappe has been hospitalized due to an acute case of gastroenteritis.
Mbappe is suffering from a stomach infection and will undergo a series of tests.
He will miss Real Madrid’s next game against Pachuca on Sunday in the FIFA Club World Cup.
Mbappe had already missed the team’s 1-1 draw with Al Hilal on Wednesday.
Mbappe will aim to recover in time to participate in the upcoming FIFA World Cup competition in the USA.
