Nigeria’s Pride:Yemisi Akintoye To Officiate At WAFCON 2024 In Morocco

Nigerian and FIFA badge center-referee,Yemisi Akintoye has been selected to officiate at the upcoming WAFCON 2024 tournament which is to be hosted by Morocco
The member of Lagos state referee football council was selected alongside 17 others as center referees for upcoming WAFCON tournament
She is the only Nigeria in the list of 46 Officials which includes 18 referees,18 assistant referees and 10 video assistant referees
Akintoye received her FIFA Referee badge in 2022 and has officiated several international tournaments, including the Aisha Buhari Tournament and the WAFU Women Champion’s League.
WAFCON 2024 will be held in Morocco between 5-26 of July.
