Chairman of Kogi State Football Association Mallam Hassan Wada has joined Nigeria’s football fraternity to congratulate the president of Nigeria Football Federation on his emergence as President West African football Union (WAFU)
Wada’s congratulatory message was contained in a statement he personally signed and made available through the State FA Media describing Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau’s emergence a great feat for Nigeria as a nation and another bright dawn for the round leather game in the west African sub-region
‘ As a Man who knows the nitty gritty of the administration of football, his emergence is a great opportunity for Nigeria and the region and will play a prominent role in shaping the future of football in the west African sub region ”
The young Football administrator said the position will definitely improve football, not just in west africa but the entire African continent because of Gusau’ unlimited wealth of experience and knowledge of the game.
The President of Nigeria football Federation, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau is the fifth Nigerian to ascend the exalted position of the estate African football body.
Kogi State Football Association wish to gladly congratulate our indefatigable and dogged President on this recent victory and also wishes him huge success on his new role and pledges our support to his his new position.
