Adeyemi FC’s dependable goalkeeper, Oni Oluwadamilare, has set his sights on securing promotion for his team in the ongoing Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO), following a series of outstanding performances at the Iseyin center.

The Kogi-born shot-stopper has kept three clean sheets in five matches, playing a pivotal role in Adeyemi FC’s strong start to the campaign. Oni was instrumental in their opening day draw against Oyomesi FC and followed up with commanding performances against Cornerstone FC and PSI INTL FC, pulling off crucial saves to keep his side in control.

Speaking on his form and ambitions, Oni stated:

“I’m really happy with how far we’ve come, and topping the table shows we’re on the right path. Every league game is tough, and I’m committed to giving my best in goal. Our ultimate target is to secure promotion to the NNL, and I’ll keep fighting to make that happen.”

The shot-stopper has stood tall against teams like Positive Football Academy and Ogbomosho United, denying dangerous free kicks, long-range efforts, and aerial threats with confidence. His agility and consistency have earned admiration from fans at the Ebedi Township Stadium, Iseyin.

Oni also praised the unity within the team and the influence of head coach Kolawole Emmanuel.

“Our coaching crew deserves a lot of credit. Their tactics and motivation are key to our progress. The best way to repay their efforts is by continuing to win and staying focused. I’ll keep pushing to deliver top performances for the team.”

With four matches left to play in the regular season, Oni remains determined to help Adeyemi FC maintain their unbeaten run and clinch the much-coveted promotion ticket to the Nigeria National League (NNL).
