Osun Babes FC midfield maestro, Suliyat Busari has made it known that Osun Babes FC are no pushovers when it comes to the game of soccer.
Suliyat, when discussing with journalists about the chances of her team, Osun Babes FC against Edo Queens FC in the round of 16 of the President Federation Cup said that her team have been at this stage before. Hence there is no panicking.
” We were at this stage last year when we played against an NWFL Premiership Super six contender, Confluence Queens FC and we won. Playing against Edo Queens FC would not be different. Though we know they are the defending champions of the league and are still a force to reckon with as probably the best team in the land but this is the President Federation Cup.”
” We might be playing in the NWFL Championship but we are no minors or pushovers for any Premiership side. We have a very young and talented squad and we are ready to take on the world.”
” The last time we played against Edo Queens FC was in a league match in 2022 at Ile Ogbo and it ended in defeat for them and we believe we can still do that again this time. We are Osun Babes FC and we are made for this type of match.” Concluded Suliyat.
Osun Babes FC would be taking on Edo Queens FC at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos State on May 3, 2025 by 1pm.
