Newly formed NLO outfit Bright Stars FC have expressed readiness ahead of the New Nigeria Nationwide league season, as they seek to compete for honours whilst downplaying their recent emergence not to be a clog in the wheel of their progress when hostilities finally gets underway at the okpala centre.

The newly formed Aba based outfit have recently engaged in rigorous and high profile friendly matches designed by the management in a bid to scout for the ideal players required for the battle ahead in the third tier of Nigerian football.

While speaking with the Club’s media department, the president Mr Bright Saviour expressed optimism and belief in the team, pointing out the fact that he is somewhat satisfied with series of preparatory programmes so far.

“I must say that my boys are fully ready to compete in the NLO, we are just barely 4 weeks old and you can see the unity amongst them. Obviously we are not going to make up the numbers, we have tough teams in our centre who are more experienced in terms of previous participation. This is our debut season, but we are unfazed and battle ready to give them a run for their money”, the young football administrator remarked!

The okpala Community are set to witness a thrilling football spectacle from Bright stars FC at the OISA stadium on the 23rd of April when hostilities officially kick starts with their debut match against Jaguar FC set to live up to it’s billing in a battle of supremacy.

The OISA stadium okpala would reek of hostilities with the likes of Bright stars FC contending with heavyweights like Abia State federation cup winners, Ahudiya Nnem FC, alongside Right To Win FC, Enyimba Feeders, Aba FC, Inter Aba FC, Buberio FC and a host of other ambitious sides.

Bright Stars FC will be counting on the experience of Coach Chijioke Osuagwu, former head Coach Abia Warriors FC, assistant coach Enyimba FC etc to come to bear when the league season gets underway.

As for the neutrals, the confines of the OISA soccer stadium will be brightened in a thrilling display of refined football spectacle because debutants, Bright Stars FC have deemed themselves as the dark horses of the 2025 NLO season. A team to watch out for!
