A football stakeholder and sponsor Of LECAN FC Mr Kayode Alao has commended the organizers of the just concluded Opeyemi Ramadan Cup.
Alao in a chat with Sportsgister Nigeria during the final held yesterday said Opeyemi Ramadan Cup is another booster football development in Odigbo local government.
“I want to commend Alhaji Opeyemi and Anifowose for initiating Opeyemi Ramadan Cup.
“We have never had football tournament during Ramadan in this local government.
“As you have known that football fosters unity among communities,tribes and clans,that is what we are seeing today.
Mr Kayode Alao lauded Coach Dimeji Abimbola’s developmental strides in Odigbo local government.
“l want to use this avenue to congratulate coach Dimeji Abimbola on his recent election as the vice-chairman of Ondo state football association.
“Dimeji Abimbola has been the frontier of football development in Odigbo local government since the past 20 years.
“His efforts are now yielding fruitful results with different grassroot tournaments surfacing.
