Bayelsa Queens inflicted FC Robo Queens first home league defeat in the first stanza of the league as Delight Isaac and Olabiyi Alaba goals earned the visitors a memorable 3-1 win on the 26th February, 2025.

Chairman Bayelsa Queens FC, Pastor Robin Angonimi Apreala has urged his players to “calm down” that the tie is “not over”.

Pastor Apreala said the 3-1 win away in Lagos was a good result and a moral booster to the Prosperity Girls as they intensify preparation for tomorrow’s game against FC Robo Queens of Lagos, as the second round of the league resumes tomorrow 19th March, 2025, at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa.

The soft spoken sports administrator, Pastor Robin Angonimi Apreala said he is optimistic Bayelsa Queens will win the tie tomorrow, but admitted it won’t be easy as football can be cruel.

The only thing I tell my players is don’t celebrate too much, because there are lots of matches to play, that’s my only advice.
