Ondo FA Retains Electoral And Appeal Committees

Ondo State football Association has retained Electoral And Appeal Committees.
Recalled that Otunba Dele Ajayi and seven other board members were voted in last Friday.
Ondo FA in its board meeting also approved committee to decide clubs affiliation fees.

1)The meeting appreciated Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for his support for the game of football and creating a level playing ground for the last local FA and State FA elections.
2)The board appreciated the Electoral and Appeal Committees for a job welldone in the last election with their mandate that their tenure will last till the next four years because there were vacant positions to be filled with the approval of certification of commendation for both committees.
3) The board agreed that sponsors are needed to fund the activities of the State FA with the agreement that this year’s edition of Bet9ja Ondo State Football League will be an U-18 tournament for the discovery of younger talents.
4) That the board members should remember that they represent the Ondo State FA and the NFF in general and should be good ambassadors of the game of football.
5) Members also pledged their loyalty to the Otunba Dele-Ajayi-led board with the sole aim to develop Football across the 18 local government council of the state.
6) That the board meeting must be quarterly with the agreement that it could be virtual and attendance is of importance.
(7) That board approved Committee on Clubs and Affiliation to decide on how much each club will pay for affiliation.
(8) The board approved the dissolution of all committees except the electoral and appeal committee.
9)That the board constituted a committee to review academy, clubs and associations that are appendages to Ondo State Football Association to be headed by Vice Chairman Dimeji Abimbola with Ibukun Adetoyinbo and Gabriel Aborowa to work in the committee
10)That all football activities in all the 18 local governments must be through their respective Local Football Council.
