NWFL:Abia Angels Whitewash Dannaz Ladies At Onikan Stadium

The visiting Abia Angels FC of Aba took over the Onikan stadium Lagos as they ambushed the home team Dannaz ladies fc of Lagos to claim the maximum points for the game 7 of the nwfl premiership match.
The Enyimba ladies took control of the game when Funmilayo Adefuye’s long throw deflected into the net for the first goal of the match.
Lucky Mary turned things around again for Abia Angels fc side when her shot went into the net off a pass from her teammate to make goal nos 2 in the 33 min and she also did not stop scoring during the game as she rattled the home team net with 2 more goals during the 41 and 88 minutes of play to score her second hatrick so.far while Opeyemi Awori scored the only goal for the home side off a freekick in the 45 minutes.
While speaking after the game coach Adanna Nnah of Abia Angels fc spoke about the performance of her wards after the ” we came with a positive mindset to get the maximum points and it worked well for us today but the home team also fought well but we were the better team so we deserved the maximum points today.”
Abia Angels fc finished the first half of the nwfl premiership with 13 points from 7 games as they continue to push for a place for the super 6 playoffs.
