NPFL:Anakwe, Adebayo Score As Remo Stars Beat Akwa United 2-1 In Uyo

A strike from Second half substitute, Samuel Anakwe and a brilliant individual goal by Olamilekan Adebayo was enough, as Remo Stars came back from a goal down to beat Akwa United, 2-1 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo.
The encounter which is a Matchday 20, of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), saw the host took the lead, through Uche Sabastine inside six minute, which gave the Kennedy Boboye’s led side 1-0 first half lead.
In the second half, coach Daniel Ogunmodede, made some substitutions to help change the approach of the game for the team.
However, the game changed in a brilliant fashion for the Sky Blue Stars, as Substitute, Anakwe made a quickly breakthrough just few seconds, after coming on to levelled it 1-1, in the 73rd minute.
Before Adebayo struck home a delightful individual finish to secure the maximum points for the visitors, in the 84th minute.
With the victory, Remo Stars boost their title hopes alive after the massive away win in Uyo. Also their third away victories of the season.
