Whyte Ogbonda, Technical Adviser Bayelsa Queens, says football is about scoring and he will introduce an attacking mentality to the Prosperity Girls.
Coach Whyte made the remarks after Wednesday’s 22 January, 2025, goalless draw with Ibom Angels in Uyo.
Whyte said he was proud with the playing of his girls yesterday and that Ibom Angels is not a push over as some people think.
“Football is about scoring goals, so I am in support of an attacking style”.
“I know the expectations of Bayelsans and I will work diligently with my assistants towards the goal of qualifying the Prosperity Girls for the Super Six and winning the trophy,” Coach Whyte said.
Coach Whyte said he recognizes and appreciates what is ahead of him, and says he loves the challenge.
The former Rivers Angels gaffer said coaching Bayelsa Queens is an amazing job and that he does not take the appointment for granted and added that he is elated and will do his utmost best.
