Southwest Zonal Elimination: Osun Teams are Fully Prepared and Well Oiled for the Task Ahead- Ademola Daini

As the Southwest Zonal Elimination of ball games takes centre stage in Osogbo, the Director of Sports, Coaching and Training, Osun State Sports Council, Mr Ademola Daini has made it clear that Osun State teams that would be competing in all categories of games are battle ready and ready to go.
He disclosed this to newsmen when asked about the preparation of the teams.
Mr Daini said that Osun teams would be participating in seven Sports namely: Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Beach Volleyball, Cricket, Handball and Hockey.
” All our teams have put preparations in motion for months now and are fully prepared for the task ahead.”
” Out of the seven Sports that Osun will participate in, six of them, we have both male and female teams while we only have male team for the cricket game.”
” Our coaches are top notch and we believe in them to make us proud and qualify all our teams for the National Youth Games which comes up next month in Asaba, Delta State.”
” Our players know that their only goal is to get Osun State teams to qualify. They are in good shape and motivated for the Zonal Elimination.” Said Mr Daini.
The Southwest Zonal Elimination will take place in Osogbo, Osun state capital between 29th August and 31st August, 2024.
Osun contingents would be expecting contingents from other Southwest states to arrive Osun today, Wednesday, 28th August, 2024.
