Governor Otti Fulfils Promise Of Bus Donation To Abia Warriors

Abia Warriors Football Club of Umuahia has taken delivery of the brand new 32-seater Coaster Bus donated by the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Chioma Otti.
This is in fulfilment of the promise made by the Governor to the club during a reception he organized for the 2024 President Federation Cup runners-up at his country home at Nvosi, Isiala Ngwa.
The Umuahia based outfit was plagued by transportation challenges throughout last season, and the Governor’s swift action comes as a soothing relief.
An obviously elated Chairman of Abia Warriors, Coach John Obuh while taking delivery of the bus expressed gratitude to the Governor for living up to his billing describing him as “The Promise Keeper”.
While noting that the Governor’s gesture will not only reduce transportation costs, Coach Obuh said the development will also galvanize the club to better performance forthwith.
