Oyan Agog as Sambo Clinic takes Centre Stage.

In his bid to give back to the society, the Chairman Board of Trustees of King Timmy Judo and Sambo Sports Foundation, Mr Rotimi Okeniyi in conjunction with Osun State Sports Council has decided to organize Sambo Clinic in his home town, Oyan.
The UK based Sambo instructor, Okeniyi has brought some Judo and Sambo equipment to be distributed free to all participants coming to Oyan for the Sambo Clinic. The organizers have also provided free accommodation, feeding and transport fare to all participants.
The Sambo Clinic which starts today Friday, 16th to 18th August 2024 at Oyan Town Hall, Oyan is expected to feature athletes from Osun State and other state of the Southwest.
While speaking with journalists, The Chairman Board of Trustees of King Timmy Judo and Sambo Sports Foundation, Mr Rotimi Okeniyi said that the rationale behind the Sambo Clinic is to give back to the society that made him.
” We, at King Timmy Judo and Sambo Sports Foundation are always willing to touch lives of athletes positively in order to have a lasting impact. Hence, we organize the clinic.”
” We have a lot of equipment to be distributed to all participants. We also have plan to construct an ultra modern Judo and Sambo Hall in honor of our sports loving Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke.” Concluded Mr Okeniyi.
The dignitaries expected at the Sambo Clinic are: Governor Ademola Adeleke, Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi, The Speaker Osun State House of Assembly, RT. Hon. Wale Egbedun, Chairman House Committee on Sports, Hon. Abiola Awoyeye, SA on Sports, Hon. Adeyemi Kolawole SSA on Sports, Culture and Tourism, Hon. Iyiola Sefiu Babatunde.
Others are: The General Manager Manager of Osun State Sports Council, Mr Rotimi Dunmoye, Director of Sports Osun State Ministry of Sports, Mr Layi Adesiyan, The Director of Sports, Coaching and Training Osun State Sports Council, Mr Ademola Daini among others.
The Royal Father of the day is the Oloyan of Oyan, Oba Kilani Adekeye Oluyeye1.
