Akinima/Biogbo at the Igbogene centre defeated Gbarain Starlet by two goals to one while Mighty-Mighty in the second tie at the centre whitewashed Bayelsa Medical University BMU Strikers by seven goals to two to secure qualification.
Citiboi Feeders at the Obunagha centre edged out FC Silina by three goals to one while Brazil FC in the second game walloped Dominion FC to book a place in the final phase of the preliminaries.
Global City at the Okordia centre overpowered Super B FC by two goals to one while Akenfa FC survived elimination scare as they came from two goals down to beat Etevie FC 3-0 on penalties after a two-all draw in regulation time.
Hummels Stars at the busy Swali centre pipped God’s Mercy City by a lone goal. Izuo Gillet FC in the second game beat Ikolo FC 5-3 on penalties having played out a one-all draw in regulation time.
Meanwhile, Benjamin Silas of Mountain Fire Ministry MFM FC has broken the fastest goal record of Ibibo Amos of Ewoi FC. Silas scored exactly 11 secs into the game against Slaughter FC as against Amos’s 53rd secs goal against Onuebum FC at the Kolo centre.
Meanwhile, Ogbia Local Government Area play-offs will take place on Sunday, 29th March, 2026 at the Imiringi centre. Kolo Creek United will face Fuo Kings FC of Otuoke at 12.00 noon while the second match will see Edi 1 FC against Orashi FC at 3.00pm
